Iced Mint Tea

6 Orange Pekoe tea bags
1/2 cup Fresh Mint Leaves
3 tbsp Fresh Lime/Lemon Juice
2l Water, boiling
1 cup Sugar (or to taste)
  Ice Cubes


  1. Put tea bags, mint leaves, lemon/lime juice and boiling water into a large container - allow to steep for about 20 minutes.
  2. Place the sugar into a large glass jug. Remove the tea bags and mint. Pour the brewed tea into the jug and stir until the sugar has dissolved.
  3. Cool and place in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
  4. Serve in tall glasses over ice cubes.
